FAQ
The questions everyone asks first.
Does my reader need an account or an app?
No. Your link opens a clean player page in whatever browser they're already in, including the in-app browser inside X, Instagram or WhatsApp. They tap, it plays.
Do I need an account to record?
No. Guests can record and share immediately. An account is what unlocks editing (trimming, re-recording and modifying your audio) plus a home for all your notes.
Where does the audio live?
On your PlatformVoice link. Members can update or delete a note at any time. The link follows, and a deleted note goes dead everywhere it was shared.
What does the card look like on each platform?
We generate it per platform from your note: your name, the waveform and the duration, sized so X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Facebook each render it properly instead of a bare grey link.
Which browsers can record?
Any normal browser on desktop or phone. You'll be asked for the microphone once, by your browser, not by us. The exception is the mini-browser some apps open links in: a few of them refuse to hand over the microphone at all. If that happens we tell you which app it was and give you a one-tap way out to your real browser.
What's a feedback collection?
A link you create and share. Anyone who opens it can record an anonymous voice reply, with no account needed on their side. Replies land in your dashboard as playable voice notes, not typed text.
Is my audio encrypted?
Yes. Every recording is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM before it's stored, with a unique key per file. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
