Good questions
Before you ask.
Do my customers need an account or an app?
No. Your link opens a clean recording page in whatever browser they're already in, including the in-app browser inside Instagram, X or WhatsApp. They press record, say it, and it's in your inbox. Nothing on their side, ever.
How is consent handled for testimonials?
Two agreements, deliberately separate. Recording for you is one; agreeing to be shown publicly is a checkbox they tick or don't, with the exact wording versioned against their reply. If they didn't tick it you can listen but never publish - the system refuses, not just the guideline.
Is anonymous really anonymous?
Yes. No account and no name on an anonymous reply, and if they choose to disguise their voice the change happens in their browser before upload - you receive the altered take and the original never leaves their device. It's also the limit: you can't tell who sent what, so if you need to know, ask a named question instead.
Can I put the wall on any website?
Any site that lets you paste a script tag: Webflow, WordPress, Framer, Shopify, plain HTML, a React app. The wall matches your page's background, light or dark, uses your accent colour, and plays with a synced transcript. Website keys are bound to your domain, so the tag only works where you put it.
Can it be my contact form?
Yes. A collection of the contact-form type takes a name and an email, no rating, and is never published - a voice message people can leave instead of typing into a box, and you reply by email. Ours is at /contact.
Who owns the recordings, and can I delete them?
The person who spoke keeps every right to their words; you hold them in trust and decide what's shown. Delete a reply, a collection or your whole account from the dashboard and it's gone for good - recordings, transcripts and the wall entries with them.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your recordings, collections and replies stay saved. After Agency expires, existing client sites and walls keep working for 14 days, then Free limits apply to your selected site and collections. Pro+ walls reduce gradually with advance emails. Renewing restores eligible saved configurations; deleted content and revoked keys stay removed.
Is the audio encrypted?
Every recording is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM before it's stored, with a unique key per file. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
