Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of PlatformVoice for recording, sharing, and listening to voice notes. By using the service, whether signed in or as a guest, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use PlatformVoice.
Accounts and guest use
You can record and share voice notes without an account. Creating an account lets you keep a dashboard of your recordings, mark them private, and access PRO features if you subscribe. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of whatever you record. By uploading a recording, you give us the license we need to store, encrypt, process (e.g. applying pitch/tempo/voice effects you request), and serve it back to you or to whoever you share its link with. If you mark a recording public, you're choosing to make it accessible to anyone who has that link. Treat it accordingly.
You're responsible for what you record and share. Don't use PlatformVoice to:
- Record or share someone else's voice without their consent.
- Upload content that's illegal, harassing, hateful, or infringes someone else's rights.
- Use voice cloning to impersonate a real person without their permission.
- Attempt to abuse, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
We can remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
PRO subscriptions and billing
PRO features (longer recordings, pitch/tempo/voice effects, voice cloning) are billed as a subscription through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep PRO access through the end of the period you've already paid for. Pricing and what's included in PRO may change. We'll give notice before a change that affects an active subscription.
Recording limits
Free accounts and guests can record up to a set length per take; PRO raises that limit significantly. These limits exist to keep the service fast and fair for everyone, and may be adjusted over time.
Third-party features
Some features (voice changing, voice cloning) send the specific audio you apply them to, to our processing partner, ElevenLabs, to generate the result. Signing in with Google or X (Twitter) is handled by those providers directly. Use of these features is subject to this being how they work. See our Privacy Policy for details on what's shared.
Availability
We aim to keep PlatformVoice up and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, PlatformVoice isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim, if any.
Termination
You can stop using PlatformVoice at any time. We can suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms. See our Privacy Policy for how to request deletion of your account and data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do, and for material changes, we'll try to let you know directly.
